Automation of machining process 

The expectations of the global market affected by the pandemic in previous years, and now the war in Ukraine, mean that we are constantly witnessing further automation of production processes. At a time when employee maintenance costs and workplace organization are at a high level, automation becomes the expected solution. Automation of production is aimed at replacing humans with modern robots that will take over partially or fully control of the production process. The use of industrial robots and other devices improves work efficiency, eliminates human errors and production downtime.

In the case of modern FAT HACO CNC lathes, the machining process is automatic. The workpiece is prepared on the basis of the import of 3D models to the control system, and the manual work of the machine operator, i.e. the loading and unloading of the detail, can be replaced by a robot. When purchasing our machines, we also offer dedicated robots and feeders that will improve the production process.

Specialized machining centers are also becoming more and more functional.The development of technology and customer expectations increase the possibilities of machines for various processing purposes. FAT HACO produces not only task lathes, dedicated to handling long production series, but also machines properly configured for a specific machining. An example of this is the modern FCTS machining center. Due to the slant bed structure, the turning diameter is not limited by the carriage. The machine can operate as an slant bed lathe, as well as a full 5-axis, fully automatic turning and milling center, depending on equipment and configuration.
