Shipbuilding industry

Example:
Thanks to the FCT 700 series lathe, the insulator was subjected to various forms of machining, from milling the outer coating to turning in resin and metal. In order to save time, after placing the part on the self-centering clamps located in the chuck and tailstock, the entire machining process was automated by controlled movement of the hydraulic steady rest and tailstock. The dust emitted from the processed resin required the installation of a central dust extraction system in the machine, connected directly to the tool head.
Mining industry
- for machining drill rods or machine and tool equipment components. The drill rod production process may include machining, turning and thread forming. Precise machining of the ends of the shafts connecting the rods is responsible for the tight transmission of power and extracted fluids.
